Modmath 4.0 supports sign-in with Google and Apple accounts. You can use either in place of an email and password.
Signing In for the First Time
- Go to the Modmath sign-in page at dev.modmath.com.
- Click Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple.
- Follow the prompts from Google or Apple to authorize Modmath.
If this is your first time signing in with that account, Modmath creates a new account for you automatically using your name and email address from Google or Apple.
Signing In on Return Visits
Once you are signed in, you will skip the login screen entirely and will be shown your Modmath dashboard. You will be signed in immediately without entering a password.
Linking Google or Apple to an Existing Account
If you already have a Modmath account with an email and password, you can link your Google or Apple account to it so you can use either method to sign in.
- Sign in to Modmath with your email and password.
- Go to Account > Settings > Security.
- Under Providers, click Link next to Google or Apple.
- Complete the authorization flow.
After linking, both sign-in methods work for your account.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use both Google and Apple on the same account? Yes. You can link multiple providers to one account from Account > Settings > Security.
My Google account email is different from my school email. Which should I use? If your school uses organization-managed accounts, use the email your administrator used to create your account. Contact your administrator if you are unsure.
