Modmath 4.0 supports importing content directly from Google Drive into your canvas. This is available through the Import Assignments tool in the canvas toolbar.
How to Import from Google Drive
- Open a workbook.
- In the toolbar, click the Import Assignments button (the import/upload icon).
- Select Google Drive from the dropdown.
- A Google sign-in prompt will appear if you are not already signed in.
- Browse or search for the file in your Drive.
- Select the file and confirm.
The file is placed on the canvas as an image. You can then write in the cells on top of it to fill in answers (make sure the image is behind the grid).
What File Types Are Supported?
Google Drive import places the file as an image on the canvas. PDFs and image files (JPG, PNG) work best.
Other Ways to Import
The Import Assignments dropdown has two additional options:
- Files & Photos — Upload an image or file directly from your device (no Google account required).
- Camera — Take a photo with your device's camera and place it on the canvas immediately.
See Importing Assignments for a full guide to all import methods.
