Using the Eraser Tool in Modmath 4.0

The eraser tool lets you clear individual cells or erase multiple cells at once.

Erasing a Single Cell

1. In the canvas toolbar, tap the Erase button.  
2. Tap any cell on the canvas to clear its contents.

Erasing Multiple Cells

You can select a group of cells and erase them all in one step.

1. Tap the Select tool in the toolbar to enter selection mode.
2. Tap or drag to select the cells you want to erase.
3. Tap the Erase button.

All selected cells are cleared at once.

What the Eraser Removes

• Text, numbers, and symbols typed into cells
• Operator labels and signs attached to cells

 

What the Eraser Does Not Remove

• Freehand drawing strokes (use the Erase Drawing button)
• Images placed on the canvas
• Notes attached to cells

Tips

• To undo an erase, tap UNDO in the bottom of the keypad or in the Workbook toolbar in the upper left corner.
• The eraser only clears content — it does not delete the grid cell itself. The cell remains in place and can be typed in again.
