You can import assignments into the Modmath canvas to work on them directly. Imported content appears on top of the grid lines by default. You can also move them under the grid lines by clicking the Send to back tool.
How to Import

In the canvas toolbar, tap the Import button (the download icon in the bottom toolbar).
Choose a source:
- File Library — Browse files stored on your device.
- Camera — Take a photo of a printed worksheet (if your device has a camera)

Google Drive — Select a file from your Google Drive account.
File Library

Tap File Library to open your device's file picker. Select a file or a .modmath file to load a previously exported workbook.
Camera

Tap Camera to activate your device's camera. Take a photo of a worksheet or handwritten problem. The image is placed on the canvas immediately after capture.
Google Drive
- Tap Google Drive to browse and select a file from your connected Google account. Select the file to import it.
Working with Imported Images
Once imported, the image appears on the canvas. You can:
- Move it — Drag the image to reposition it

Resize it — Drag the corner handles

Rotate it — Use the rotation tool on the side panel.

Duplicate it — Use the Clone image tool on the side panel.

Send to back — Place the import under the grid lines.

Crop it — Crop the import by dragging the blue handles.

Delete it — Delete the import.
Tips
- If your image is rotated, use the rotation tool to straighten it after import.
- Imported images are saved with your workbook — they reappear the next time you open it.
