The Keypad tool allows you to add numbers and mathematical symbols to the Workbook, this is the tool you will use to write and solve problems. In this article, we’ll guide you through the simple steps to add or delete characters in the Workbook using the Keypad.

How do I add characters to the Workbook?
To add characters to the Workbook:
- Open your Workbook.
- Press (tap or click) the keypad icon in the main navigation menu to open the Keypad
- Tap (or click) the cell you would like to add a character to
- Tap or click the character you want to add to the cell (cursor will automatically move to next cell)
How do I remove characters from the Workbook?
To remove characters from the Workbook:
- Press (tap or click) the undo option within the keypad (double arrow pointing left)
- You can redo an action by pressing the redo option within the Keypad (double arrow pointing right)
How do I remove characters from the Workbook using tap or click gestures?
To remove characters from the Workbook:
- Tap or click the select tool, then tap “Select Objects” from the dropdown menu.
- Long tap (or long click) and drag multiple cells until your entire equation is selected. Try dragging diagonally from one corner to the other with your finger or mouse.

Once your equation is fully selected, long tap (or long click) until you see the red Delete option.
- Tap (or click) the “Delete” option to confirm the action.
